Consultations

We often receive queries about the consultation, At the Extension Shop all clients are required to attend a complimentary consultation before we can complete any work.

Its the salons opportunity to assess the clients needs and expectations, and more importantly what treatment would be suitable for you. 

Our philosophy is "If in doubt DO NOT apply them"its simply not worth putting our reputation at risk. 

We will cover questions such as;

-Have you had extensions before, If so how did you cope, was there anything you disliked about them?

-What is your lifestyle like, Are you able to care for them?

-How often do you shampoo your  hair?,Do you have any issues with dandruff as in this example that may highlight a sensitive scalp which may be aggravated by extensions.

-How will you wear your hair with the extensions in? Certain styles may cause tension in the bonds.

-Hair maintenance and the time commitment will be covered in detail, Remember no matter how well they are put in, Regular maintenance is essential to keep them looking looking good.

Can I remove my own extensions?

No, Never remove your own extensions, In doing so you are very likely to damage your hair and scalp. There are various specialist methods of removing different types of extension.

We spend a great deal of time training our staff in the removal of our extensions. 

How much do your products and services cost?

Once you have been fro your complimentary consultation, you will be given a price for a complete package and what this includes. This will include a free maintenance check up we call the "first check". This gives us an opportunity to ensure the client is happy with their hair and highlight any issues they have been having and go through Shampoo/blow dry techniques with extensions.

In doing so this should make the client feel a lot more confident in looking after extensions.
